Hilary Hobler sets personal long jump record

Hilary Hobler, a 2009 graduate
of Lincoln Community High School and currently an Illinois State
University sophomore, set a new personal record long jump of 18
feet, 7.75 inches, or 5.68 meters, in bringing home a seventh-place
finish in a field of 47 athletes in the prestigious Iowa State
Classic. Some of the best competitors from the Big Ten and Big 12
conferences were entered in the weekend competition.
