Lincoln College wrestling sending 10 to nationals

RIVER GROVE -- The Lincoln
College wrestling team competed in the Midwest regional tournament
Sunday at Triton College. The Lynx came away with a fourth-place
finish and qualified all 10 wrestlers for the national tournament in
Spokane, Wash., Feb. 25-26.

"I was a little disappointed in some of our performances today;
however, the main objective was to qualify all 10 wrestlers and we
did that," said head coach Dave Klemm.

Michael Johnson at 184 pounds and heavyweight Andre Dunn
qualified as wild cards by a vote of the coaches.
Prentice Thomas was voted outstanding wrestler of the
tournament by defeating two returning all-Americans.
