Red Lions men win over Central Christian

[February 14, 2011]  The Red Lions men's basketball team placed four players in double figures Friday evening as they defeated Central Christian College of the Bible 89-58, improving their record to 18-6.

LCU was led by Kyle Rust with 21 points while Brady Cremeens, Chris Lawson and Sam Ernst added 14 each.

LCU controlled the boards as they outrebounded their opponents 46-33 and shot 46.7 percent from the floor. The Red Lions also worked well in finding their open teammates, recording 26 assists on 36 baskets.

The Red Lions will travel to St. Louis Christian College on Tuesday evening and then play their last game on "Hall of Fame" day Saturday, when they host Emmaus Bible College at 3 p.m.
