LC basketball at Danville

[February 15, 2011]  DANVILLE -- Lincoln College played Danville Area Community College on Monday in a men's basketball game postponed from earlier this month due to snow. The outcome was Lincoln 84 (19-5, 6-1), Danville 67 (17-8, 3-4).

Lincoln was able to go on a quick run to end the first half, with Tylon Deal hitting a shot at the buzzer to put Lincoln up 43-32. The Lynx then did a great job of defending in the first 10 minutes of the second half to extend the lead by 20 points with 10 minutes to go.

Kiel Turpin had 20 points and eight rebounds, Wes Dawson 15 points and eight rebounds, and DeMarius Sumrell had five assists.
