Red Lions women challenge Emmaus

[February 17, 2011]  DUBUQUE, Iowa -- Playing one of their best games of the season, the Red Lions women of Lincoln Christian University dropped a game to Emmaus Bible College 59-50 Tuesday evening. Trailing 37-15 at the half, LCU rallied in the second half, outscoring the host school 35-22.

LCU was led by Ashley Ingram with 16 points and Jonni McCaslin with nine points. Seven different players scored for the Red Lions as they shot 33.9 percent from the floor, had 14 assists and 13 steals.

The Red Lions will host Emmaus this Saturday at 1 p.m. as part of the "Hall of Fame" weekend.
