[February 18, 2011]  LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A longtime friend of Sam Kinison says recently obtained DNA testing shows the late comedian fathered a daughter he has been ordered to pay child support on for years.

ComiHardwarec Carl La Bove says he has lost his driver's license, passport and other privileges because he hasn't paid more than $187,000 in back child support. On Thursday he filed court papers asking a judge to invalidate the child support orders based on the paternity tests that show he wasn't the father.

La Bove says he has a good relationship with the 21-year-old woman and that he hopes she may one day benefit from the late comedian's estate.

La Bove, who opened for Kinison for several years, was with the comedian when he died in a car accident in California in 1992.
