Christian Village to offer estate planning seminar

[February 18, 2011]  The Christian Village is offering a free estate planning seminar on Feb. 24. The seminar, which will follow a light lunch at noon, will be presented in the congregate building.

InsuranceParticipants will learn why having a will or trust is important and how to make certain the will or trust reflects their desires. Topics will include avoiding probate, reducing final estate costs, avoiding capital gains tax and how to remember someone in a will who is not a good money manager.

The speaker will be Larry Simonson, a certified financial planner and the director of estate planning for Christian Homes.

Those interested in attending should RSVP to Marcia Cook at 732-2189 by Feb. 22.
