Grain futures, livestock prices fall

[January 08, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains futures traded lower Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

InsuranceWheat for March delivery fell 15 cents to $7.74 a bushel, March corn fell 7 cents to $5.95 a bushel, March oats fell 7 cents to $3.7075 a bushel while soybeans for March delivery dropped 13 cents to $13.65 a bushel.

Beef and pork mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell 0.35 cent to $1.0637 a pound, March feeder cattle dropped 0.32 cent at $1.2275 a pound, February lean hogs fell 0.35 cent to 79.42 cents a pound, while February pork bellies were unchanged at $1.06 a pound.
