[January 15, 2011]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Donald Trump is welcoming Gary Busey, Meat Loaf and La Toya Jackson among the rivals to be his latest "Celebrity Apprentice."

HardwareThe 16 contenders, who were announced by Trump on Friday, also include rock singer Mark McGrath, one-time teen idol David Cassidy and Richard Hatch, remembered as the fat, naked guy on the first season of "Survivor." Hatch has had lengthy legal wrangling with the Internal Revenue Service over unpaid taxes and could still be facing jail time.

Actress Marlee Matlin, singer Dionne Warwick and retired Major Leaguer Jose Canseco (kan-SAY'-koh) will also be among those competing in business-related tasks around New York City.

Each hopes to raise money for a favorite charity.

The new season premieres March 6 on NBC. Trump remains host and judge.
