Vegas…Vonderlieth style!

2011 has opened with a flurry of winter weather and, at least at Vonderlieth, a rush to the tables! Residents made the long trip to the Velvet Lounge Casino (the Activity Room) for an afternoon of high-stakes thrills on Wednesday.
At the end of the day, there was a lottery drawing for the “high-roller winners," with prizes ranging from a special dinner to a really large stuffed goat.

Vegas night at Vonderlieth Living Center.

Staff helped residents have fun playing five-card draw, blackjack, roulette, horse racing and Pokeno. The currency of choice was Vonderlieth Bucks, provided to the partygoers at registration. Their winnings were put to good use in buying tickets for the lottery drawing at the end of the afternoon’s activities.
