Red Lions defeat Concordia of St. Louis

[January 24, 2011]  Hitting 3-pointers, clearing the rebounds and playing a strong defense, the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian defeated Concordia Seminary 77-26 Saturday afternoon.

HardwareLCU hit 15 of 29 3-point attempts and 29 of 57 totals from the field to go along with a 48-25 advantage on the boards to record their 13th victory of the season.

In a balanced attack with 11 different players scoring, the Red Lions were led by Chris Lawson with 17 points and Brady Cremeens and Kyle Rust with 10 points each.

Coach Matt Clark rested his starters most of the game, but the bench came through with 48 points, including 12 of 22 from the 3-point range.

LCU will play Robert Morris in Springfield on Tuesday.
