Grains futures mixed, livestock prices higher

[January 29, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grain futures traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

HardwareWheat for March fell 2.25 cents to $8.44 a bushel; March corn gained 5.25 cents to $6.56 a bushel; March oats added 4 cents at $3.94 a bushel; and soybeans for March delivery rose 11.50 cents to $14.11 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures traded higher or flat on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle added 0.65 cent to $1.0760 a pound; March feeder cattle gained 0.65 cent to $1.2625 a pound; February lean hogs gained 1.40 cent to 85.35 cents a pound; while February pork bellies were unchanged at $1.0900 a pound.
