Lincoln College athletic recruiting

[January 29, 2011]  As Lincoln College prepares to sign athletes this spring, the college will report on those being signed. This week's report follows:

• LC baseball signs Derek Breit from Rockford Jefferson High School.
  
  Derek plays the infield, had a fall batting average of .606 and was voted MVP of his high school team his junior year.

• LC women's golf signs Kendra Butler from Normal Community High School.
  
  Kendra was a state qualifier and MVP of the women's golf team. She will bring her 82 average to compete for LC coach Carol Wilson next year.
