Benedict, Lyle E., 68, of Lincoln; 1990 Dodge Dakota
Jones said she left her vehicle parked and running with her children in car seats in the back seat of the vehicle. She went into a nearby residence, and when she came back out, her truck had rolled into the vehicle owned by Benedict and also into a fence on a piece of property owned by Benedict. She said that she believed one of the children had gotten out of their car seat and put the vehicle into gear.
Jones was ticketed for illegally leaving a vehicle unattended and operating a vehicle without insurance.

Accident occurred on Lincoln Parkway at the Route 121 spur.

Leesman, Joyce A., 71, of Atlanta; 1998 Oldsmobile 88 LS
Welchel was southbound at the stop sign, preparing to make a north turn onto Lincoln Parkway. She said that she stopped her vehicle, then proceeded, entering the path of Leesman, who consequently struck her.
Welchel was cited for the incident.
