kickoff dinner for the four-day celebration of Mount Pulaski's
175th anniversary was last night at the Abraham Lincoln
Presidential Museum. Over 300 attended the affair that gave full
access to the museum to enjoy the exhibits as well as good food
and fellowship. More pictures are in today's Top Stories.

A
CSX train carrying a load of new cars derailed Thursday in Brooks, south of Louisville, Ky.. Bullitt County officials
said there were no injuries or hazardous materials involved in the
derailment. The derailment involved 15 cars near Kentucky 1020,
which was shut down for a half-mile, Zoneton Fire Chief Rob Orkies
said.
Dave and Diane Campbell, center in blue shirts,
held an open house yesterday at their NAPA Auto Parts store. The
couple is celebrating their 40th year in business.
The NAPA store is not only one of our city's most successful
businesses, but is also a leader in community service in Logan
County.
