Tofts to celebrate 25th anniversary July 4

[July 01, 2011]  PETERSBURG -- Jeffery ("JT") and Debra ("Debby") Toft of Petersburg will celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on July 4. Toft and the former Debby Johnson were married on July 4, 1986, at the First United Methodist Church in Lincoln by the Rev. James McClarey and the Rev. Karen Deifendorf.

The couple celebrated their anniversary with a trip to Jamaica in March and will be celebrating over the Fourth of July weekend with a family dinner. They are also planning a trip to Australia.

Mr. Toft has been employed by NAPA Auto Parts for 29 years and is currently a regional manager for NAPA. Mrs. Toft has been employed by the Illinois State Board of Education for 12 years and is a program specialist in the Nutrition Programs Division. They are the parents of two children, Jacob ("Jake"), who lives in Springfield and is a student at UIS, and Jessica ("Jessie"), who is a student at SIU-E.
