ATLANTA, Ga. -- The Lincoln
College women's basketball team does it again. This is the 13th
straight year the Lynx women's basketball team has placed in the
Women's Basketball Coaches Association Academic Top 25 Team Honor
Roll.

The WBCA Academic Top 25 annually recognizes teams from NCAA
Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, and junior and community colleges
across the nation that carry the highest combined grade-point
averages inclusive of all student-athletes on their rosters for the
entire season. The 2010-11 season is the 16th in which the WBCA has
presented the standings. The Lynx, coached by Carol Wilson, have
the most appearances of any team in any division in this year's
honor rolls.
"When you look at the context of all of the schools involved with
this award, it speaks volumes for what coach Wilson has done with
her basketball teams in the classroom! To be represented in this
postseason award against all NCAA schools and to be in the Top 25
for 13th straight years says Lincoln College is getting it done
where it counts most -- in the classroom," said Kirk Whiteman,
assistant athletic director.
