First Presbyterian pulled-pork event beats the heat

It was a night of high temperatures that made a person want to stay home. But that wasn't the case at First Presbyterian Church as the church hall was packed with community members waiting a turn to purchase their sandwiches. The event brings in strong numbers, usually in the 700s, and this year looked no different as the line ran along the wall and all the way out the door. Some who were brave enough used the outside tent, where musical entertainment was available to diners.
