Seal coat on Logan County roadways begins

Send a link to a friend

[June 11, 2011]  The Logan County Highway Department has begun seal coat operations for 2011.

Seal coat, commonly referred to as oil and chip, is used as preventive maintenance on most of the roads in the county.

Approximately 130 miles of roadway will be seal coated this year in Logan County.

The public's cooperation is always appreciated during the highway construction season. Please obey all construction signs and avoid driving through fresh oil.

The highway department thanks you in advance for your patience as they maintain local roads.
