[June 14, 2011]  With this morning turning out rainy and forecasts predicting rain again for this evening, the first-ever NASCAR Night at Lincoln Speedway will not go on.

According to co-owner Yvonne Horn, the appearance of Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace at the speedway has been canceled as well. Horn said she has no information at this time as to whether this special event may be rescheduled.

As of this morning, the special event for Thursday night is still scheduled. Thursday night's event will feature the first part of the three-day POWRi Mini-Sprint Showdown. The Mini Sprints are scheduled to be in Lincoln on Thursday night and then continue with special events at the Macon County Speedway on Friday and Saturday.
