[June 14, 2011]  Logan County Circuit Court Clerk Mary Kelley would like to update citizens on the electronic guilty plea program.

HardwareKelley said this program has been established per Supreme Court rules and is observing its second anniversary in Logan County Circuit Court. She says we have been very fortunate to be a pilot county in this program, and it has proven to be a very successful undertaking.

Through the county website, www.co.logan.il.us, you can plead guilty and pay the fine for minor traffic and conservation offenses. You can also make payments on cases with an outstanding balance.

Kelley said the records show the number of users has steadily increased during this initial period. She said what this means to you is you are able to plead guilty on a minor traffic or conservation offense and make payment any time of day or night at your convenience online.

Judici E-Pay instructs you step by step through the process. Confirmation is sent via email.

For more information, visit the county website or contact the office at 217-735-2376.
