Lincoln Chill hosting fast pitch softball tournament

[June 16, 2011]  Lincoln is sponsoring a fast pitch softball tournament this weekend with about 34 teams present. The tournament will be at the junior varsity and varsity high school fields and all three of the Rec Center fields. The games will begin on Friday at 5 p.m. and will start up again at 8 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, with games played all day long both days.

The Lincoln Chill organization has teams for girls 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under. The girls are very excited about this upcoming tournament and would love to have some community support.

All kinds of food and drinks will be available. People are invited to bring their lawn chairs and come out and support the Lincoln Chill teams.
