Logan County Dynamite results

[June 18, 2011]  The fourth- and fifth-grade, seventh-grade, and eighth-grade Logan County Dynamite teams were in action last weekend in Decatur.

On the eighth-grade team are (left to right) Gracie Walters, Natalie Oltmanns, Kourtney McAllister, Megan Jackson, Lexi Tibbs, Kristin Engelhardt, Alec Hayes and Naomi Bailey. The team is coached by James Anderson and Steven Hayes.

The eighth-grade team went 2-3.

They lost to the Junior Lady Illini 32-26. Gracie Walters scored eight points and Lexi Tibbs scored six points.

They won against the Lady Untouchables 31-29. Natalie Oltmanns scored seven points and Kristin Engelhardt scored six points.

They lost in overtime to PGSL 47-44. Kourtney McAllister and Naomi Bailey each scored nine points, and Natalie Oltmanns and Gracie Walters scored eight points each.

They beat the Champaign Krush 35-7. Natalie Oltmanns had four 3-pointers for 12 points, and Kourtney McAllister scored eight points.

They lost to the Jacksonville Thunder 34-23. Lexi Tibbs scored 16 points and Natalie Oltmanns added five points.

The seventh-grade Dynamite team went 1-4.

They won their first game against the Champaign Krush 16-14. Madi Guy and Hailie Williams each scored five points and Lexie Groves added three points.

They lost to the Jacksonville Thunder 57-22. Katlyn Helton scored eight points and Lexie Groves scored seven points.

They lost to Pleasant Plains 30-4. Hailie Williams and Katlyn Helton each scored a bucket.

They lost to the Junior Lady Illini 33-15. Lexie Groves scored six points and Hailie Williams scored four points.

They lost to the Lady Untouchables 35-10. Hailie Williams scored six points and Lexie Groves scored four points.


On the fourth- and fifth-grade team are (left to right) Olivia Knoedler, Callie Anderson, Autumn Hoffert, Tosha Boyer, Ainsley Chandler, Skylar Hayes, Madi Thomas and Abigail Fitzpatrick. The team is coached by James Anderson and Steven Hayes.

The fourth- and fifth-grade team went 2-4.

They lost to the Bloomington Gators 24-2. Abigail Fitzpatrick scored two points.

They lost to the Knockouts 22-4. Olivia Knoedler and Skylar Hayes each scored two points.

They beat the A&M Raiders 13-4. Skylar Hayes scored five points, Callie Anderson scored four  points, and Ainsley Chandler and Abigail Fitzpatrick each added a bucket.

They lost to Chatham Glenwood 23-0.

They lost to Heart of Illinois 29-2. Abigail Fitzpatrick scored two points.

They beat the A&M Raiders 19-5. Callie Anderson scored five points, Ainsley Chandler scored four points, Skylar Hayes and Abigail Fitzpatrick scored three points each, and Autumn Hoffert and Olivia Knoedler each scored two points.

The eighth-grade team will compete at the Purdue Tournament in West Lafayette, Ind., this weekend.
