Steve Guttenberg going to Broadway this fall

[June 23, 2011]  NEW YORK (AP) -- Steve Guttenberg, Julie Kavner and Marlo Thomas will appear in "Relatively Speaking," three one-act plays by Woody Allen, Ethan Coen and Elaine May that are being bundled together on Broadway this fall.

Guttenberg, the "Police Academy" star; Kavner, who supplies the voice of Marge Simpson on "The Simpsons"; and Thomas, the creator of the "Free to Be ... You and Me" series, will be in the new mini plays to be directed by John Turturro.

Others actors announced Wednesday include Caroline Aaron, Bill Army, Lisa Emery, Ari Graynor, Danny Hoch, Fred Melamed and Grant Shaud.

"Relatively Speaking" will begin previews Sept. 20 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on 47th Street, and officially open on Oct. 20.
