The Chill won the first game by a score of 4-1. Ashlyn Carroll was
the winning pitcher with five strikeouts and helped herself on
offense with a triple and a single. Mallory Bacon contributed to the
offense with a triple and a double. Michelle Paulus and Hannah
D'Andrea each had a double and a single, and Brighton Robbins added
a double. Makenzie Cooper, Kallie Rogers and Heather Van Cleve all
singled.In the second game, the Chill won by a score of 13-3. Meg
Driver was the winning pitcher. Offensively, Hannah D'Andrea hit a
double, and Ashlyn Lessen, Ashley Poole and Makenzie Cooper each
singled.
These two wins bring the Lincoln Chill record to 25-10.
The team travels to East Peoria this weekend for a tournament.
