[June 24, 2011]  Community Action announces a new congregate dining site for the agency's Senior Nutrition program.

Beginning on July 12, a soup and salad buffet will be available the second Tuesday of every month from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the board room of the Community Action corporate office, 1800 Fifth St. in Lincoln.

To kick off the new dining site, Scott Woger and Will Toedtman of the Lincoln College Faculty Jazz Duo will entertain diners on July 12 from noon until 1 p.m.

Woger is active in trumpet performance and has worked with some of the finest brass musicians throughout the nation. Prior to his teaching appointment at Lincoln College, he performed and taught throughout the Midwest. He still performs as a guest artist and clinician in Chicago and St. Louis.

Toedtman grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio, where his parents founded the Toedtman School of Music, which remains the oldest and most distinguished private music school in the region. Over the years, he has taught guitar lessons at the Toedtman School and elsewhere and has performed professionally throughout greater Cincinnati and southern Ohio.
