WLNX to
air regional tournament

The student-operated radio
station at Lincoln College, WLNX-FM 88.9, will broadcast this
weekend's Lincoln men's basketball games from the NJCAA Region 24
basketball tournament in Danville. Top-seeded Lincoln opens
first-round play Saturday at noon against the No. 8 seed, Rend Lake.

 The student broadcast team
of Jordan Foss and Jon Oliver, both of Lincoln, will provide
commentary. WLNX will broadcast live coverage of all postseason
tournament action involving the Lynx."Jordan and Jon have matured
into quality sports broadcasters," said John Malone, assistant
professor of broadcasting and WLNX general manager. "Their knowledge
of the team and on-air chemistry really show. It will be very
exciting to have our own students travel to Danville to bring the
action back to our home audience."
