[March 06, 2011]  MOUNT PULASKI -- Gabriel Linn Scroggin, stillborn, died at St. John's Hospital in Springfield at 8:49 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011.

A service for Gabriel will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Veail Chapel at Steenbergen Cemetery, Mount Pulaski. Visitation will be at Veail Chapel for an hour prior to the service. Gary Crowder will conduct the service, and burial will follow in Steenbergen Cemetery.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski is in charge of these arrangements.

Gabriel is survived by his parents, Andrew (and Megan) Scroggin of Springfield; his maternal grandmother, Terri Strader of Lincoln; his maternal great-grandfather, Robert Dial of Lincoln; his maternal grandfather, Todd Osborn of Lincoln; his maternal great-grandparents, Dale (and Patricia) Osborn of Lincoln; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Dela Auxier of Easton; his maternal great-grandmother, Lora Farnsworth of Batavia; his paternal grandparents, Terry (and Jeanie) Scroggin of Mount Pulaski; his paternal great-grandmother, Betty Scroggin of Mount Pulaski; and his paternal great-grandfather, Charles Eveland of Paris.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandfather Robert A. Scroggin and paternal great-grandmother Betty Irene Eveland.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
