The occasion of celebrating Casimir Pulaski was also a chance to promote the 175th anniversary of the founding of Mount Pulaski.

Books, souvenirs and shirts were available to purchase during the evening to help finance the many activities planned for this year by the anniversary committee.

The life buoy pictured is from the USS Casimir Pulaski (SSBN-633), a nuclear sub that was named after Pulaski in 1963 and served 30 years.
