LC softball results

[March 10, 2011]  MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. -- On the third day of spring break, the Lincoln College softball team won their first game 5-1 against Community College of Beaver County (Pa.). Picking up the win for the Lynx was sophomore pitcher Danielle Stephenson (2-0). Chrissy Warden went 2 for 3 and Heathre Depratt went 1 for 2 with a triple (RBI).

The Lynx lost the second game 5-3 against Sauk Valley Community College (Ill.). Kristen Cooper was 2 for 3 with an RBI and a home run in the fourth inning. Shelbi Rentmeister (0-2) took the loss for the Lynx.

Lincoln now has a 3-3 record and will play Olney Central College and Bluefield College on Thursday.
