Zion Lutheran students win honors

Zion Lutheran School in Lincoln had its annual ZLS Geography Bee during National Lutheran Schools Week. Students in grades 4-8 took a preliminary round quiz, and the top finishers participated in the ZLS Geography Bee. The ZLS school champion is Joe Ahrends, and Logan Thompson is the runner-up. Emily Messner was third in the competition.

In addition, Zion Lutheran School students won first and second place, plus four honorable mention awards, in the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 263 Americanism Essay Contest.
