LDN - Top Stories
Lincoln Junior High School hosted a Technology Showcase last
night.
Students, parents and faculty
gathered to recognize students from the elementary and junior high
in District 27 for various technology projects they have done throughout the
school year.

This
satellite photo taken Wednesday
shows the damage after an earthquake and
tsunami at the Fukushima Dai-ichi
nuclear power plant complex in Japan. The
satellite image confirms damage to the
Units 1, 3, and 4 reactor buildings.
Steam can be seen venting from the Unit
2 reactor building, as well as from the
Unit 3 reactor building. Additional
damage can be seen to several other
buildings approximately 350 meters north
of the Unit 2 reactor building.

The Hartsburg-Emden
FFA dairy judging team placed first at the Section 14 dairy
judging contest. Kaleb Hoerbert was third-high individual and
Noah Cross was fifth-high individual overall. Others contributing
to the success were Karly Anderson, Willow Krumwiede, Alicia
Clark and Daphne Simer.
