Yale killing suspect expected to plead guilty

[March 17, 2011]  NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) -- A former animal research technician accused of killing a Yale University graduate student is expected to enter a guilty plea at a court hearing.

Attorneys for Raymond Clark III say he struck a deal with prosecutors and is expected to change his not guilty plea during a New Haven Superior Court hearing Thursday. Details of the plea agreement haven't been released. Clark is charged with strangling 24-year-old Annie Le (lay), of Placerville, Calif. Le was a doctoral pharmacology student. Her body was found stuffed behind a research lab wall the day she was supposed to get married in New York in September 2009. Clark's duties included cleaning mouse cages and the lab's floors.
