Healthy Aging and Nutrition Seminar at Christian Village on Tuesday

[March 19, 2011]  Older adults who wish to maintain their independence and have a good quality of life through healthy nutrition are invited to a light lunch and seminar at The Christian Village at noon on Tuesday.

Registered dietitian Katherine Rosner, dietary supervisor at The Christian Village, will discuss the role nutrition plays in good health, self-sufficiency and quality of life. The lunch and seminar will be in the Senior Apartment (Congregate) Building.

Although the seminar is free, seating is limited. Those interested in attending should call Marcia Cook at 732-2189 to reserve a seat.

The Christian Village offers a range of senior living options including garden homes, senior apartments, skilled nursing care, Reclaim Rehabilitation and the Haven Center Memory Care Unit.
