Colclasure and her parents, Kevin and Leah Colclasure, visited the campus on Wednesday for a signing ceremony with women's basketball coach Amanda Bowman and LCU President Keith H. Ray.

InsuranceBowman said: "I am really excited about signing this young lady. She has come to our summer basketball camp the last couple of years, and she is going to be a great asset to our team. I expect her to come in and contribute to our team right away. She is going to be someone who can help us turn our team around."

During her high school career, Colclasure scored 1,018 points, averaged 12.5 points per game, had 47 offensive rebounds, 103 defensive rebounds, handed out 121 assists and garnered 72 steals. She averaged 68 percent from the free-throw line and 32 percent from beyond the 3-point marker.

Colclasure's high school honors include fourth team IBCA all-state 2010-2011, first team All-Effingham Daily News 2010-2011 and all-Apollo Conference 2010-2011. As a team leader for the Effingham Hearts, she was named the most valuable player, was the team captain, and had the most steals, blocks and assists. She was also named to the Effingham all-tourney team and the Newton all-tourney team.
