Red Lions baseball

[March 30, 2011]  ST. LOUIS -- The Soldiers of St. Louis Christian College handed the Red Lions of Lincoln Christian University two close losses, 5-2 and 8-6, in games Tuesday afternoon.

The 1-9 Red Lions were led by Nick Walters with three hits, three RBIs and one run; Richard Weese with two hits, a double and a triple, one RBI, and one run; Andrew Scates, two hits, a double, an RBI and two runs; Sam Martin, a double, an RBI and one run; and Andrew Wingo, a double and one run.

LCU will play a doubleheader at Robert Morris today (Wednesday) at 6 p.m.
