Lincoln College students steal the show

[March 31, 2011]  Lincoln College is proud to present "Hey, Wait a Minute! A Ten-Minute Play Festival." Performances will be the first two weekends in April: April 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10. The Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees will begin at 2 p.m.

InsuranceThis eclectic group of plays will amuse, shock and touch audience members. With a record amount of student involvement, this festival features eight 10-minute shows, four of which have never been produced before and will be making their world premieres.

The festival includes student playwrights Mikel Frost and Craig Noort; student directors Cassandra Ellwing, Tinesheia Howard and Tresa McBeath; and student designer Amariah Henderson. This production also features the directing talents of Lincoln College's assistant professor of theater, Martin Holden.

Cast members are Uriah Berryhill, Neiko Boyd, Perry Broaden, Kristin "Wednesday" Craig, Cody Follis, Cody Ford, Mikel Frost, Eddie Johnson, Jason Leader, Craig Noort, Alexis Roberts, Austin Schrader, Nicolette Shegog, Silky Smith, Siara Taylor, LaDreea Thomas, Micheal Triplett, Mckenzie "Ya-Ya" Ward, Cameron Williams, Logan Wilson and Anthony Wofford.

The production is in the Hostick Theatre in Lincoln College's Johnston Center for Performing Arts.
