At the end of the Monday night
voting session, Mayor Keith Snyder said he was prepared to make
recommendations for city department heads.
This is done annually, with the mayor offering a recommendation and
the council voting to approve the recommendation.
In addition, city police Chief Ken Greenslate made a
recommendation seeking approval for his deputy chief.
All the recommendations were approved by the council, and city
department heads took an oath of office administered by city
attorney Bill Bates.
