Sue (Setsuko) Lynch

[May 03, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Sue (Setsuko) Lynch, 80, of Lincoln, died Monday, May 2, 2011, at 7:26 p.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at The Christian Village, with the Rev. John Pham and Ryan Edgecombe officiating.

Arrangements are by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln.

Mrs. Lynch had worked in housekeeping at Lincoln Developmental Center.

She was born on July 5, 1930, in Hokkaido, Japan. Her parents were Ishi and Osamu Kawasaki. She married Gerald E. Lynch on Jan. 30, 1948, in Japan. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1994.

She is survived by one son, George Lynch of Lincoln; three daughters, Beverly Naugle (and Lloyd Slack) of Lincoln, Linda Tice of Springfield and Gerilyn Gasparin of Springfield; six grandchildren, Quinn Naugle, Amber Senters, Jeff Tice, Kelley Tice, Emily Gasparin and Rachel Billington; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral Director

She was a member of Holy Family Church.
