Coach Brian Herron said: "I was very pleased at how well we did
today. We were the only two-year school at this meet and we put up a
lot of points. It has been a tough spring due to the weather, but I
feel they ran their best with the conditions that they had today. We
had close to 20 personal records today. That is simply awesome. This
was our final warmup before our super region meet next week. We are
hoping to have close to 20 athletes qualify for the national meet
there."
The super region meet will be at Vincennes College in Vincennes,
Ind., on May 5-7.
