[May 04, 2011]  Community Action has announced its Employee of the Quarter. Nichole Komnick, Early Head Start assistant, was awarded the honor for the work she does with the Early Head Start program at the corporate office in Lincoln.

"Nichole has a passion for Community Action. She goes out of her way to help with anything that is asked of her," said the co-worker nominating Komnick.

Nichole has been a part of Community Action since October. She was recognized by her peers as an enthusiastic advocate for the Early Head Start families she serves, and she is truly passionate about all the programs available through Community Action. She is always willing to go above and beyond the normal everyday requirements of her job. Her peers agree that she is the perfect team player and is always willing to assist other staff or other programs.

Komnick was presented with a plaque and $50 gift card by the executive director, Angela Stoltzenburg, and Beth Fleshman, deputy director.
