[May 14, 2011]  The Union Pacific Railroad will close the crossings at Pulaski, Broadway and Pekin streets on Monday in order to replace the existing track and crossing surfaces. This work is a continuation of the track replacement process for high-speed rail that occurred in April. The crossings at Pulaski, Broadway and Pekin streets are expected to remain closed through May 23.

Once these crossings are completed and reopened, the Tremont and Keokuk Street crossings will be closed for one day for final track adjustments.
