Location: 100 block of Hickox Drive (McDonald's parking lot)

Drivers and vehicles:

  • Kiedysz, Zachary T., 24; 2006 Chrysler Sebring

  • Huffman, Kayla D., 20; 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Contributory causes: improper backing and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident

Citations issued to: no one

May 18, 3:26 p.m.

Location: intersection of Woodlawn Road and Lincoln Parkway

Drivers and vehicles:

  • Kaleff, Sherri L., 45; 2004 Ford Ranger pickup

  • Redding, Angela M., 27; 2007 Dodge Nitro

Both drivers were taken to Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital by Logan County Paramedics.

Contributory causes: failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving too fast for conditions.

  • Gissler, David P., 76, Lincoln, arrested May 18 in the 1000 block of North Madison Street on charge of having no valid driver's license.

  • Daniels, Jody L., 32, Lincoln, arrested May 18 at the Sangamon County Jail on a Logan County warrant for failure to appear in answer to charge of retail theft and also on a Logan County body attachment warrant.

  • Hampleman, Jason L., 37, Lincoln, arrested May 18 in the 1200 block of 1150 Avenue, Lincoln, on charge of domestic battery.
