John Deere Gator stolen from Lincoln College

[May 28, 2011]  On Thursday, the Lincoln Police Department was contacted in reference to a theft report at Lincoln College. A green John Deere Gator was stolen from the maintenance shed on the west side of the property at approximately 8:30 a.m.

Witnesses last saw the vehicle being driven northbound on Union Street past the Eaton factory. The suspect was described as a white male, bald head, in his 20s or 30s, wearing a brown Carhartt jacket, and had a red cast on his left arm. The vehicle has front-end damage.

Anyone with any information concerning any crime in the Lincoln and Logan County area is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 217-732-3000. Your information will be kept confidential and you may remain anonymous. If your information leads to the arrest of the person or people involved, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward up to $1,000.
