This year the fifth annual
Airport Daze celebration was moved to a new date, Memorial Day.
The event was slated to begin at noon on Monday with Young Eagle
flights offered to area youngsters. However, that event had to be
canceled due to high winds and is being rescheduled for June 18.
The rest of the day went off without a hitch as many area visitors
dropped in to take a look at the Heritage In Flight Museum's long
line of vintage aircraft and Army vehicles, along with a car show
featuring the Railsplitter Antique Auto Club.
