Chester-East Lincoln opens basketball season

[November 02, 2011]  BLOOMINGTON -- Chester-East Lincoln opened the season on the road in the Cornerstone Christian Academy tournament. The Panthers battled the home team but came up short in both the seventh- and eighth-grade games.

The seventh-grade team fell 24-21. Josh Vinson led the way with eight points and four boards, and Drew Martin had six points, four boards.

The eighth-grade team fell 40-30. Tyler Harp had 13 points and Zach Pudunujec finished with nine points.

Chester-East is back at the tournament on Thursday to take on Flanagan at 4:15.
