Grain futures mixed, beef prices flat

[November 05, 2011]  CHICAGO (AP) -- Grains traded mixed Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 0.75 cent to $6.3675 a bushel; December corn rose 2.25 cents to $6.5575 a bushel; December oats fell 3 cents to $3.29 a bushel; while January soybeans fell 6.25 cents to $12.21 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was unchanged at $1.2450 a pound; January feeder cattle was also unchanged at $1.4740 a pound; while December lean hogs rose 0.25 cent to 86.85 cents a pound.
