 On their way to victory, the Lynx set five new pool records. The
women's 200 medley relay (Dean, Carvajal, Rodriguez, Ochoa) and 400
free relay (Cury, Rodriguez, Ochoa, Rea) set pool records, while
individual pool records were set by Maggie Rea in the 1,000 free,
Paula Carvajal in the 100 breaststroke and Max Spencer in the 100
and 200 breaststroke.Coach Jake Sexton commented: "I'm extremely
pleased with how we performed this past weekend. The past couple
weeks have been a challenge for our team, and they certainly proved
themselves on Saturday. With this being the start of our season, I'm
extremely excited for what's in store for the end of the year."
