Chester-East Lincoln wins a pair

[November 08, 2011]  BLOOMINGTON -- On Saturday, Chester-East Lincoln finished the Cornerstone Christian Academy round robin with two wins against Normal Calvary.

In the seventh-grade game, CEL was victorious by the score of 39-15.

CEL was led by Josh Vinson with 21 points and six boards and Jordan Jacobs with seven points.

The eighth-grade team hung in there to beat Normal Academy for their first win of the season, 38-36.

CEL was led by Drew Martin with 12 points and 10 boards. Quentin Batley had nine points and 15 rebounds, with Tyler Harp adding nine points too.

Both teams are 1-2 and travel to Mount Pulaski on Thursday.
