[November 08, 2011]  MOBERLY, Mo. -- The Lincoln Christian University Red Lions men's basketball team fell to the Saints of Central Christian College of the Bible on Monday by a score of 114-103.

In their season opener, junior Brady Cremeens led the Red Lions with 37 points, with 33 of them from the 3-point line. Senior Chris Lawson added 25. Sophomore Christian Lowry helped out with 16 points and six assists, while senior Mac Ingmire provided eight assists.

The Red Lions shot 59 percent from the field but were unable to rebound throughout the game.

Assistant coach Ed Plumier said after the game: "The guys played hard and didn't give up. CCCB was taller and bigger at most positions, but I think our guys played well for our first game."

The Red Lions (0-1) travel to Ankeny, Iowa, on Friday to participate in a Faith Bible College tournament, where they will take on Faith Baptist and Manhattan Christian College.

LCU's School of Undergraduate Studies is a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association, Division II.
